Scope & Content Greeks in Fitchburg arrived to find work with the hopes of earning enough and returning to Greece. A proud people most stayed in Fitchburg and sent for their families. Many opened their own businesses, stores, restaurants, bannana wholesales and coffee houses. Having Ethnic Fairs, home made pastries and performing dances in full costumes. Built their own church. They added to the list of ethinic groups already established in Fitchburg.
