The Whalom Breeze program from the week of July 29 - Aug. 3, 1901. This is Vol. I., No. 7. On the front page is a picture of the original open-air theater at Lake Whalom. There are also two stories: one about the history of how the name "Whalom" came to be, and another story about Rip Van Winkle. The Theater was doing a presentation of the play "Rip Van Winkle", a comic opera, in three acts, by Planquette. On the back page are some short stories and the schedule times for the Fitchburg and Leominster Street Railway which ran from Depot Square in Fitchburg and from Main Street in Leominster to the Whalom station. |
