A "folksy" book about the Aijala Family. The focus of the book is on the part of the family that emigrated to the United States. It is the hope of the author that the book will give a sense of the contributions her Finnish relatives have made to their adopted country.

Lily was born on August 16, 1892 in Hanna, Wyoming - eldest of 10 - 8 survived - to Finnish immigrants, Abram and Sanna Mari Kujanen Tofferi.
