The mill is the building at the back right of the picture and the two other houses next to it on the right were for the mill hands. The granite hill in the background is Rollstone Hill. The first coats for the war of the rebellion were made in this mill.

Photo, ca. 1890's, of upper Main Street and the side street Central St. It includes The Phoenix Building on the left and the brick building on the right which housed the M.N. Benjamin Grocer Store listed as 364 Main St. Myron N. Benjamin lived at 73 Central St. Also in the brick building was the Geo. W. Wright's Printing Office owned by George W. Wright. The office was listed as 316 Main St. in the early 1900's Fitchburg directories.
