Large, framed tinted lithograph print view of Fitchburg in 1856 from Hale's hill, identified as taken from the residence of Samuel Hale on the bottom of the print. Hale's hill of fields and horse that gives way to downtown Fitchburg. Along the bottom edge of the actual picture:"published by John Batchelder 1856 from JH Bufford's Lithograph in Boston. A.
