Notes |
Gift is given in memory of Ernest Myrer [Myner?] Photo inscription: "K Co [company] 20th Regt. [Regiment] M.I. G.On Duty Boston Police Strike 1919Guard On Duty Boston Police Strike " Note: Seventy men are in the photo, which is a very small number for a company (usually about twicw the size). Some specialized companies (intelligence, logistics) might be that small, or perhaps the unit was understrength due to post-WWI demobilization. Capitalized letters that appear to be M.I.G. might be M.S.G., which would mean Mass State Guard. |
